A. Accumulate 10 Minutes (5 min / arm) Single arm Front rack carry 55-70lbs
Done @ 55lb, 30s left-30s right-30s rest until 5 min each arm.
B. Accumulate 6 minutes Back Rack Hold / walk w/comfortable weight
Done @ 195lb (+20lb from last week), total time = 7:30.
C. Accumulate 4 minutes in knee tuck position on paralettes
Done, total time = 5:50.
D. 8 Minute amrap:
1 HSPU
3 Strict pull ups
5 Calorie Ski erg
SHIT - I did this as 5 cal AB as usual for the last few weeks, just didn't read carefully enough to notice it was supposed to change to ski erg until just now :(
Result = 8 rounds even. My best pace in the past weeks for the 5 min version was just under 1 min/round, so goal was to hold that pace for the 8 mins. Hard but got it done. HSPUs went really well, last few AB sets were very tough (arms only as it had been). Wonder how the ski would have changed things...
OVERALL: Excited for the next cycle but very happy with what we've been able to maintain through this injury. I feel good going into the next round, I'm really hoping starting back into leg work will allow me to really focus on form and continue the progress we've made in building that strength and improving my squat.
