A. 5 Minute amrap:
1 HSPU
3 Strict Pull Ups
5 calorie arms only assault bike
Rest 1:45 minutes x 4 sets
Results:
1) 5+1
2) 5 - should have had +1 but failed HSPU - had just enough time to for a hurried single attempt, couldn't quite pull it off
3) 4+8 - hit the final cal about 5s after time
4) 4+6 - as with last time, hit a wall on this round. Failed 1 HSPU 2nd or 3rd round, can't remember for sure)
Overall, pretty happy with these results with the shorter rest (15s makes a difference, especially by the last set!!). Once again, the delt/tricep pump was REAL.
B. 25 Minute Easy ski erg / bike - switch as needed
Done, all on AB using legs. Was able to move the legs pretty well - nothing like an all out sprint of course, but about what they should do for a longish Z1 session.
OVERALL: Def feel ready for some deloading. This was a pretty decent peak week, and the glute continues to improve steadily. I'll play around - light and low intensity - with more movements over the next few days and give you an update later this week about what should be coming into play for the next cycle.
