A. Jerk Balance; 4 reps; rest 90s x 4 sets
Done @ 115-120-120-125. Still getting a feel for these but definitely better than last week. Last set @ 125 was strong.
B. BB Z Press @20x1; 6-8 reps; rest 2 minutes x 4 sets
Done @ 70lb (same as last week). 4th set got spicy but still solid.
C. Strict Pull ups; 3 reps every 20s till failure or a maximum of 3 minutes; rest 2 minutes x 2 sets
Hit 3 mins both sets. Not as easy as last week - very last 3 reps were challenging - but overall not hard to get through.
D. Strict HSPU; 1 Rep every 25s till failure or a maximum of 3:45 minutes; rest 2 minutes x 2 sets
Hit 3:45 both sets...barely. Depth on last couple reps was just barely there but got through it.
E. 150m Row ALL OUT; rest 2 minutes x 9 sets
All sets between 0:27.5 and 0:29.0. How's that for consistency :) Sets 5-7 were the toughest, last two it was easier to go right up to the wall knowing it was almost done. Really enjoy these...takes me back to my running days when I would play mental games to get myself through speedwork intervals.
F. 20 Minute Z1 bike/flush
Done.
OVERALL: Solid way to end the week. Really enjoying this cycle, even though I miss the more "crossfit" type stuff, I like the clear focus of the work.
