Cycle 3 W4D8

A. Deadlift; Build to a tough triple for the day; don't push this too hard - don't want your back as sore as last time.  Once you hit a tough triple, call it there.  Don't get 'greedy' ;)

Def did not get greedy today - legs did not feel stellar. Ended @ 275. Everything felt heavy today. It's clear that my legs and core got most worked by the river trip (shoulders feel totally fine), they just didn't have any "umph" today. Also, the semester started this week which means work gets busier, so today was my first day back on the super early schedule - I don't think my legs were ready to pull heavy at 6am :( But I'll get used to it again...

B. DB RLE Split Squat; 8 reps each leg @20x1; rest 30s btw legs/90s btw sets x 3 sets *30lbs for all sets this week*

Done as planned by as with the DL legs felt tired.

C. Sled Drag; 60sec; rest 90s x 3 sets (mod-heavy, keep constant TUT)
D. Reverse Sled Drag ; 60sec; rest 90s x 3 sets (mod-heavy, keep constant TUT)

Done @ 205 (slight increase in weight from previous weeks). Amazing how short 60s felt after the longer sets previously. Didn't not the tired legs as much but prob would have if it had been longer stretches.

E. GHD Sit-up; 18-20 UB reps; rest as needed x 3 sets

Done w/ 20 reps each set.

F. Eccentric Only Banded HS Curl; 5-6 ea leg; rest as needed x 3 sets(5sec eccentric, assisted concentric)

Done and done, nothing remarkable here.

OVERALL: Pretty well said it above, legs/core just feel tired. I'm still trying to sitting light as far as weight (~2-3lbs under my normal) so prob still making up for everything that happened last week, and it's easier to feel that in the big muscle groups I'd imagine. Nothing hurts, nothing feels tight or sore, just not as inclined to work as they should be. And the earlier than usual wake up probably didn't help. I'm sure it'll pass as I get further out from the trip/sickness and further back refueled.
