A. Strict press+push press: 4 rounds of 3+3 with 2:30 rest @ 90lb
This was good - 90lb is actually a new 3RM for my strict press but I was able to get through all four rounds solidly, hard but good. Push press was easy.
B. 3 sets of
1) 3-5 weighted pullups (did 4 each set @ 35lb)
30 sec rest
2) 8-10 clapping pushups (did 10 each set)
30 sec rest
3) 15" AMRAP strict C2B (7-6-6)
2 min rest
C. 1000m row time trial = 3:37
I have no idea when I last time trialed 1000m but I'm certain this is a PR time. I started out pretty aggressive (1:40-1:45) and just tried to hang on as much as I could. Holy lactic acid!
D. 14 min EMOM:
1) 1-3 SHSPUs + 2-4 burpee pullups (rounds 1-4 = 3+4 reps//rounds 5-7 = 2+4 reps)
2) 1-3 bar MUs+20" row @ 1:56 (2k pace) (all rounds 3 MUs)
This was more metcon-y than I expected but really fun. Bar MUs felt good - haven't done them in a while and I'm not a strong as I am on the rings but they were all solid sets of 3.
