A. 10 rounds: 500m row, 15 burpees = 31:55
Yep, this was a fight. Row 1-3 = 1:53-1:55, 4-6 = ranged from 1:58-2:05, 7-8 = 2:08 (worst rounds mentally), 9-10 = 1:58. Quads were wrecked. Wonder if I could/should have pushed faster on the burpees but hard to say if I would have been able to hang on to that.
B. EMOM x 8': 3 MUs
Done - not bad, 3 reps are very comfortable for me.
I was planning to also do the single arm DB press programmed for Sat, but man, after that metcon I knew it would be tough to hit a true max effort. Then I realized that the DBs jumped from 30 to 50lb where I was training today, and it was an easy call to push it off. Will probably need to leave that to next week when I can get to a different gym that has a full DB set.
