Week 4 Day 5

A. Power Clean; 1.1.1.1; rest 10s/2:30 x 3 sets *Start at last weeks weight and build*

Did @ 165-170-175, failed very last rep @ 175 but otherwise reps were good and form was generally decent (some wide legs but I'm really try to work on that!).

B. Every 30s for 6 minutes: 3 deadlifts @ 185

Def felt this weight a bit more than I have been but reps were still comfortable and steady, no problems.

C. Banded face pulls @2222; 8-10 reps; rest 90s x 3 sets

Done with blue band.

D. Scap only push ups; 10 reps; rest 90s x 3 sets

Done and done ;)

E. Conditioning
Airdyne: 8s ALL OUT; 1:52 easy x 8 sets
Row: 10s ALL  OUT; 1:50 rest x 8 sets

This was a bit tougher than it has been, right from the start I had trouble getting as much wattage on the AD. Nothing in particular causing issues, just didn't quite have the "umph." Row was about the same as past sessions.

F. 30 min Z1 flush - did sets of easy running/walking on the TrueForm. Love/hate that thing!

OVERALL: All still quiet on the shoulder and hip fronts, things continue to feel better. Especially the hip - really no lingering pain or discomfort at this point.

  1. Really happy with the progress we've made on the shoulder/hip. As well as hitting multiple singles at a high % of your power clean 1RM.

    1. Me too! I feel like we've done a good job managing the issues and getting them under control, while I still feel myself getting stronger. Hoping for solid sets of squats tomorrow to continue that trend!
